If anyone has hooked up a rear view camera on the Max or Mini-Max I'd love to hear what you learned. Ours is a newer model without the prewired hookup for a camera, so I'm going into the well at the back of the trailer. I assume the wires connecting to the small lamps on the side of the trailer are running lights and always on, but I can't find any wiring information on the Little Guy website. Any wisdom would be appreciated.
There may be an issue with our unit -- the lamp over the license plate doesn't seem to work. However, by switching to an open pair of wires I found in the well at the very end of the trailer I managed to get power to the camera. In the well where wires run to the lamps at the back of the unit I found an open green and white wire pair. Looking to the standards for RV Camper wires on http://www.rv-project.com/resources/wirecodes.php I determined that the green was hot and the ground was white. I wired in the camera and it works so long as the running lights are on. Love having the camera. It feels safer on the road and makes backing in easier.
