My faucet (made of plastic) leaks when turned on, sometimes. If I come home and empty the tank through the faucet, it really floods. I had to remove everything from the galley and dry everything. It sometimes does not leak if I twist it a bit one way or the other, but is not consistent. I have a new one, but I'm pretty sure I've got to go in from inside under the cabinets and attempt to reach it to replace it, not positive I can reach that far. It has not been used so much that it should have gone bad.
It is leaking in between the pieces that rotate.
When we have warmer weather, I'll pull out the bed and see what I can see, not looking forward to it. If anyone has a better solution, do tell, please. I cannot get to it through the tail light.
Right now, if I use it, I wrap a towel around it so the water can't get far. On the last short trip, I did not fill the tank, I just used the dog's water jug and bottled water.
If I figure out anything for sure, I will report.
Wildcat,
My little guy does not have the sink and stove just the storage area. Which is what I wanted since I do a lot of river rafting and have plenty of kitchen gear.
But I needed to get to the tail lights. To do so means taking out the bed and removing the sliding doors. In my case these doors were basically cemented in place and to get the to even slide a little bit took pry bars and caused some damage Even when I got them apart I could not get back in there to work on the wiring.
I am 6 feet 200 pounds with long arms but gave up.
Hopefully you will have better luck but be prepared.

@davidreidok I use the sink and stove a lot. I have enough stuff also, but liked the idea. A lady told me she was able to change her faucet through there, but did not say how long her arms are. My doors do slide. So, yeah, I'll have to get in there to see what I can see! My outside shower hoses will be in the way also.
About the tail lights, you can pull the black rubber seal out from the back. It's a very tight fit to keep from leaking, but they will come out to change bulbs if needed.
I'm probably not going to attempt anything until nicer weather since it's a major pain to take all that bed out and find a temporary place to put it and put it all back.
I had a guy change my water tank years ago, and he managed to do it all upside down, but I'd rather not go through all that expense again.
