Hi, Any ideas for adding some extra padding over the vinyl covered bench cushions? Ive looked at mattress toppers , some of gel-infused foam - not to impressed.

We could use our sleeping bags, but I kind of wanted to have regular bedding.

Thanks!

We purchased a Queen sized 3" gel-infused mattress topper from Costco, and trimmed it down to fit the dimensions of the bed in the LGMM. Then, we add a regular mattress cover (Queen size) and sheets (King size, tucked under the cushions) on top of it. It is pretty comfortable starting out, but by morning, I was hoping for a little more comfort, as I could feel the hardness of the base cushions which had become compressed during the night.

I have a 2022 Micromax and initially used a large piece of 2 inch foam that I had leftover from a previous camper.  The foam went over the seat cushions and offered some relief, but wasn't the best.  I ended up taking the seat cushions and the foam out completely and used a regular twin mattress instead.  It fit perfectly going from side wall to side wall.  Works great!

lucid dreams makes a 4 inch memory foam topper with cover that is really comfortable. In the cooler areas it may get firm, but with heat is perfect.

Some folks love the Froli system, but that's under.  I have self-inflating,  thin mattresses under the foam.

I use one of those egg crate foam mattress pads covered by a thin mattress pad. With the bedding it all rolls up onto the back seat of dinette, where it stays in place while traveling. Because of the egg crate construction, it rolls up tight and stays that way. Works really well, is very comfortable and super easy to use. On top of the light weight pad, I have a king size fitted sheet. At the back this is permanently tucked in and when I roll it out, I tuck it in in the front to keep it all together. Takes about 30 seconds to make the bed.

We had the same questions about the best topper to put on the cushions in the MM.  It seems like when you roll this up it place in the back of dinette, it will be huge.  Any other suggestions?
